ABOUT EMPLOYER: Our client manufactures and sells microbiological inputs for Agricultural plant fertility and health through a distribution network. Customers include Agricultural cooperatives, independent Agronomy centers and large Ag growers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: - College degree preferred - 2 or more years proven experience selling Agronomic products; biologicals or seed treatment sales experience would be ideal - Firm understanding / knowledge of Soil Science, Plant Fertility, and Biological processes - Ability to work well within complex market environments and through different customer tiers - Solid experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM experience greatly beneficial - Self-directed with excellent interpersonal skills and a performance-driven outlook - Strong customer focus - Currently residing with sales territory with ability to travel with a clean driving record and valid driver license
JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Established Biologicals Manufacturer/Reseller in hiring a Territory Salesperson to cover the states of Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Ideal candidate will have solid Agronomic knowledge, 2 or more years of proven Agronomy Sales experience, and strong understanding of Biological processes as it relates to Agriculture. Primary responsibilities to include: - Developing / Maintaining strong customer relationships - Compiling an ongoing list of prospective customers - Providing technical, agronomic information and recommendations to customers - Executing sales with established and prospective customers - Providing superior customer service - Representing Employer in a professional manner at all public events, meetings, and trade shows - Providing Employer with customer feedback and information for social media platforms
