: SALES DIRECTOR / GM

ABOUT EMPLOYER and AREA:
Employer is an established multi-location Ag Equipment Retailer offering an assortment of new and used Farm and Ag Equipment including implements. This Employer also offers post-sales support for their customers. This opening is located in a Central Iowa community offering good schools and college, hospital and several medical clinics, airport, parks and nearby lake, several golf courses, local restaurants and cafes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ag career experience is a MUST
- 2- or 4-year business-related degree preferred
- Proven combination of sales and sales management experience
- Experience selling new or used Ag Equipment beneficial; commission sales a MUST
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills...a Relationship-Builder
- Solid computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to train / educate others on operation of equipment as well as demonstrating value-added sales techniques and models
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to train others into these skill sets
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced work environment

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Equipment Retailer in finding and hiring an experienced Ag Sales Director/General Manager for a Central Iowa location. Primary duties of this role include:
- Management of Sales Team located across the State of Iowa
- Recruiting/Onboarding/Guiding Sales Team
- Personally managing/selling into a local sales territory
- Managing/Leading all location personnel including In-House Sales, Parts, and Service personnel
Additional Duties to include:
- Making decisions concerning daily tasks and operations
- Managing budget
- Inventory management
- Overseeing scheduling/movement of equipment from site-to-site or site-to-customer
- Overseeing building/site maintenance
- Managing vehicle fleet
- Overseeing advertising and marketing programs
- Planning for location development and new avenues for revenue generation
