JOB QUALIFICATIONS: - Agronomy or other Ag-Related degree preferred - Good experience/knowledge/understanding of Midwestern cropping systems and agronomic principles - Experience with or knowledge/understanding of Plant Biologicals beneficial - Current Ag Sales experience with a Large Footprint of Established Ag Grower Customers in his/her area - Ability to Build a New Sales Territory - Strong Customer Service Focus - Self-Motivated and Performance-Driven - MUST Currently reside and work within southern Minnesota
JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Ag Sales professional to sell competitively-priced Innovative, New Biologicals into the Ag market space in southern Minnesota. Exciting products showing great trial results and return business from application on 1.5 million acres in Year One. Ideal candidate will have proven Ag Sales experience as a territory sales representative or DSM, good knowledge/understanding of agronomic principles, ability to build a sales territory, and a solid network of current Ag Grower contacts.
Primary responsibility will be to call on Ag Grower customers and prospects to set up product trials and to sell line of agronomic biologicals. Secondary responsibility will be to set up Dealers within territory. Client seeking an individual who can "hit the ground running". Training will consist of ride-along's with Owner.
Will report directly to the Owner of business.
