Jill has been an employed on a 2,100 cow dairy for the past 2.5 years, where she is responsible for diagnosing and treating sick cows every morning. She also does some work with fresh cows - metabolic diseases and uterus checks. Jill assists with preg checks, giving vaccinations during preg check and entering data into Dairy Comp 305. She can preg check cows at dry off to confirm they are pregnant, she also knows how to administer dry treat and vaccinations used at dry off. Jill has also been trained to toggle Left DA’s. She oversees calves that are being treated and assists the calf feeders with diagnosis and treatment of sick calves and assist with moving calves. She has problem solved with the vet. She enters data from treatments and movements into Dairy Comp 305, pulls reports to assist with treatments and cattle movement. Jill helps move cows around, individually and hauling cattle with the truck and trailer. As problems arise she helps find the best way to fix and take care of it.
