This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is a third-generation rancher. He has been running his own cows since 1994. While ranching, he has also worked in many different fields: construction, plumbing, excavation, and welding. He also worked for a very large ranch owned by a wealthy family as their Assistant Manager for 10 years. He currently runs cows on two Forest Service permits that equal approximately 37,000 acres, and he's also leasing/managing a neighboring ranch that he needs not only for hay and pasture, but it is where he calves out the cows. The ranch just went under contract to sell, and do to land development in his area he is looking to make a move.
