This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has experience in production ag starting at 15 when he bought seed and fertilizer for my first crop he ever grew. He learned quickly in that first year what all it takes to produce a crop and hopefully a profit. To further his abilities and knowledge he attended The Ohio State University and earned an associate’s degree in Ag Systems Management. He's been 7 years with his current employer and this is his first job after graduating college. He does just about every job needed on a day-to-day basis. The farm is a large-scale organic farm producing row crops along with a hay and straw. Working there has allowed him to experience a whole different side of agriculture and working on such a diverse farm has taught him the great importance of planning and time management. Efficiency and quality of work is always his goal. After 5 years of employment here, he became crew manager of the 3 employees which has become his favorite part of the job. He would like to find a position at a mid to large size farm in a lead capacity or right hand-man on a smaller operation.
