This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has over 25 years of experience in Agriculture from pivot repairman to farm manager. His work experiences have allowed him to strengthen his abilities in field scouting, project management and crew leadership. He is currently a Field Representative for a large grass seed farm with up to 6,000 acres with rotation crops. He works with growers in the area and some of his duties include scouting fields, making fertilizer, chemical and irrigation recommendations. He tracks rotations to ensure uncontaminated crops. Work with state department of agriculture in certifying and field inspections. Coordinates harvest to include swathing, combining and transporting raw product to cleaning facilities. He works with major grass seed companies to place acres and negotiate contract payments, price and pay dates. He expanded the grower base by more than double in the last 5 years. He feels he's someone who you can count on to show up and get the job done. He makes it a priority to learn all he can to improve what he knows and what he can offer his employer.
