This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is a very well-rounded manager with over 20 years of proven Ranch Management experience and executive care of large working ranches and agricultural investment properties, mainly for absentee investor owners. Professionally experienced in general management, supervision, and care of large, diverse lands and real estate, employees, projects, improvements and infrastructure, livestock operations and business. He is skilled in the procurement of all services, supplies, equipment, labor and livestock. As well as, hiring and overseeing contractors, working with government agencies (USDA, BLM, State Land Boards, USFS, etc.) and land conservation agencies, plus adding value with improvement projects and practices. He’s also experienced in handling complex, licensed real estate transactions of agricultural properties, plus other real estate interests (leases, easements, energy, etc.), while representing the owner’s interests with the upmost fiduciary care and discretion. He has a wide range of working and production management experience as well, including management of all phases and aspects of year-round cattle production and care (herd health, calving, feeding, weaning, yearlings, etc… in diverse environments); professional grazing practices (from large-scale rotational to irrigated MIG); large herd acquisitions and years of marketing calf crops; maintenance, repairs and upkeep; land improvements and projects; heavy equipment operation/dirt work; harvesting hay crops; horses and equestrian management; irrigation; design and build of corrals and water systems, etc.; farming; and some forestry.
