Jacob's family dairy operation went out of business October of 2015. Jacob has been retained during the liquidation process and he is looking for stability and an opportunity to continue and grow in the dairy profession. The cows were sold January 14 and he will stay on with the operation until the operation is sold. Jacob believes this will be completed within the next month. The dairy consisted of 3 milking operations with a total of 7,500 milk cows; 32 Stall Rotary barn with 1500 cows, a 60 Stall Rotary barn with 2500 cows, and a 80 Stall Rotary barn with 3500 cows. Jacob oversaw 85 employees, with 3 managers reporting directly to him. Jacob appears to have a very strong operational management background and is interested in learning more about your position.
Jacob graduated from the Dairy Management Program in logan Utah in 1991. The He went to the family farm in Stephenville, TX. They raised it from 200 to 500 milking. They were constantly growing and expanding the herd and the facilities. Jacob moved to Utah in 1997. He rented a 300 cow dairy. He built a 1,500 cow dairy in 2000 and built a 2,500 cow dairy in 2003 and then built a 3,500 cow dairy in 2009.
