This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate grew up on his family farm from 100 acres to 1000 acres through expanding from pecans to alfalfa, custom farming, and cutting and baling. He owned and operated the farm with 3-6 employees establishing a reputation in his local community for excellent quality and service. He was responsible for daily farm activities such as planting, irrigation, chemical application and harvesting. Currently is a Farm Manager on an operation where he started in 2018 as an Assistant Manager managing 500 acres and attending the nursery and then was promoted to a role overseeing 3000 acres and has expanded his role to managing 1300+ acres of mature pecan trees involving 3 different irrigation types including micro sprinkling, flooding, and row watering. He is responsible for leading a team of 35-45 employees, running daily activities, keeping long term projects on task, and implementing safety measures for all team members. He oversees over 3.5 million dollars in annual budgets to include budgeting, planning, and purchasing supplies and orchard plans.
