Farm Manager This candidate has farming experience, excellent leadership skills and a passion for the agricultural industry. He became involved in farming at an early age. He spent most of his life helping his father farm. He has done nearly every task in row crop and orchard settings, from planning, plantings, spraying, water management, running crews, harvest equipment, purchasing equipment, budgeting for upcoming years, etc. During the summers in high school he was able to work with PCA's in the area and helped scout their fields for weeds, pests, and water issues. After high school he attended college and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice, and he also took several ag classes and has participated in ag trainings. After college he took a position as an agronomist to broaden his crop knowledge. He helped advise growers in large scale farm operations from start to finish. He planned plantings, sprayed, managed crews, irrigated, hauled and maintained equipment, created budgets, being as efficient as possible. His current job duties included selling seed, advising during the growing season, helping lay out the field, planting and taking notes and helping with harvest.
