PhD Plant Breeder - I have a PhD in plant breeding/genetics, a Masters in plant breeding/genetics and a BSc in botany. I have a certificate of proficiency in molecular biology and advanced statistics. I'm seeking a new, challenging role and am open to relocation for the right opportunity. Other skills include: experience designing breeding strategies, field plot techniques, data management, collection, analysis, integration of DNA markers into a conventional breeding program, ability to develop standardized phenotyping techniques using both instruments and sensory scores for various traits including quality, productivity and biotic/abiotic stress factors. I am computer literate and can use various statistical packages for data analysis as well as use various Microsoft Office software for report writing and presentations. I can hire and supervise staff effectively to achieve breeding targets and outcomes. And, I can also collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines to deliver R&D outcomes. I like variety trials and have released and patented varieties within the Fruit industry. Seeking $100,000 plus benefits and a U.S. citizen.
