This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has worked on 2 operations with a combined 7000-acres. He ran tractors preparing fields to get planted, ran planter and air seeder, sprayed in the summer and combined in the fall. He hauled grain and did service on equipment in the winter and early spring. He is currently working as a custom applicator responsible for hauling his sprayer from site to site with chemical and water all on one trailer. He sprays in the summer, services his equipment in the fall and then winterizes to get ready for winter. During the winter he hauls grain and chemicals and helps clean seed in the seed facility. He has an AAS Precision Ag degree and enjoys using the technology that comes with today’s farming.
