This candidate has worked as a Dairy Management Professional for over 10 years. He worked for a genetics company for 5 years, providing A.I. service and reproductive consulting. As the Assistant Dairy Manager on a 4000 cow dairy he trained three assistant herdsmen and oversaw hospital cows, shot protocols (presynch, ovsynch), hoof trimming, dry cows, and herd health. He currently manages a 1200+ cow dairy and oversees 20 employees. He oversees all aspects of the dairy simultaneously. Leads and trains all employees to ensure daily job tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. He works with and trains the herdsman on transitioning fresh cows and maternity.
