This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is Feedyard Manager at a large commercial yard in the Pacific Northwest. He is responsible for managing all aspects of this custom feedyard. These duties include but are not limited to cattle procurement for both the company and customers, risk protection decisions and advise both the company and customers on risk protection needs, ensure all BQA practices are being followed, ensure all state and local environmental rules and regulations are being followed, ensure the company safety program and all OSHA guidelines are being followed, manage the efforts of all department managers, manage all fat cattle sales to packing plants, maintain positive working relationships with the company’s farm management team and other local farmers, manage feed input inventories, maintain positive working relationships with local and state regulatory agencies. Originally from a high-plains state, this candidates is open to most locations.
