This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has moved up through the ranks during his ranch career from Herdsman to Cattle Manager and currently he is Cattle Operations Manager. His qualifications include maintaining budgets and expenses, personnel and schedules. He has extensive experience in managing AI protocols and mating decisions. Ability to manage change and make appropriate decisions in a timely manner. He is a proven leader and active team member with strong communication skills. Focused attention to the health and well-being of livestock and pasture management. Proficient in handling abnormal calving presentations including, but not limited to, uterine prolapse. Diverse veterinary skills and horse knowledge, proficient in roping, doctoring, operating various equipment, and welding. He orders feed, uses TrueTest System to mix rations and operates a feed truck utilizing Performance Beef computer system. He is responsible for all aspects of hay production and he manages land and pastures, brush control, builds and maintains all types of fencing and orders fertilizer for pastures and hay fields.
