In charge of keeping records of irrigation rates, fertilizer application, and any equipment maintenance. Oversees irrigation of 6000 acres including pivots, wheel lines, hand lines, and flood irrigated ground. Manages H2A workers. Operates and maintains machinery including tractors, loaders, potatoes equipment, beet equipment, compost spreaders, crop carts and grain equipment. Oversees and trains equipment operators and irrigators. Supervises workers involved with planting, working ground, irrigating, and harvesting the crops consisting of potatoes, beats, hay, grain, and corn.
