This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has been around agriculture most of his life with his father ranching in Wyoming and his stepfather was a ranch manager in Montana. He worked his way to his previous and current titles not by being the most formally educated, but by his skills in handling people, equipment, and high-pressure situations. He’s capable of thinking on my feet and always handling himself professionally. Well experienced in cost vs. revenue, projections, and building and maintaining budgets. He and his wife are both graduates of the Ranching for Profit school and have used their experience to reach a middle management position on a large (120k+ acre - 1000+ cattle) operation for the last 4 years. Have experience overseeing up to 770 cow/calf pairs, 2000 yearlings and calved up to 240 heifers with the help of 1 employee attached to their unit. Also putting up around 500 acres of subirrigated and dryland hay. Looking for more responsibility in a family friendly environment.
