This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate started his Ranch career as a Ranch Hand in 2008 while also studying for his associate degree. He assisted with doctoring, farming, fencing, calving, branding, gathering, sorting and riding pens in the feedyard. In 2018 he moved to Utah for the opportunity to be a Ranch Manager for an operation with 700 head cow/calf, backgrounding 700 head and farming 400-acres of irrigated alfalfa. He selects breeding bulls for future herd genetics and plans infrastructure for future building and expansion. He makes feed rations and nutritional decision, orders all meds and vaccines, determines treatments and treatment plans and artificial insemination protocols. He operates and maintains farm and heavy equipment, irrigates and manages water systems. He keeps all breeding and calving records and is responsible for accounts receivable/payable. He is seeking a challenging position with a progressive organization.
