This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has run his own company for several years; leasing ranches and feedlots, managing grass, cattle and custom calving. He also does all the haying and irrigation associated with the feedlot. He has lots of experience in the area of calving, doctoring, grazing and all facets of cattle husbandry. He has experience starting and finishing horses with a focus on soft response and a capable ranch animal, able to rope and track cattle. He was responsible for everything from horseshoeing to repairing equipment. He also managed his own books along with an operating line of credit. He can handle all aspects of ranching from shoeing horses, to billing and financial management. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Relations and Meat Science. He is a self-starter as well as able to work as part of a team. Unfortunately, the winter of 2019 caused irreparable damage to his operation, so he is seeking long-term employment. He and his wife are both from ranching families and when making this move, they are looking to relocate to warmer climate.
