This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has 20 Years of experience across the production agriculture spectrum. He has experience in all aspects of both organic and conventional production agriculture with a focus on sustainable and profitable growing practices. He is currently a Farm Manager ensuring performance and profitability of 3 farms totaling over 6,500 acres of organic certified farm ground in western Nebraska. He leads and mentors a team of farm mangers in best agricultural and organic growing practices. Achieves initial organic certification of all farms and maintains organic integrity and certification. Responsible for preparing and presenting regional reports for senior management and executive team. Negotiates contracts with manufacturers, vendors and suppliers of goods and services required for farm operations including seed, fertility, equipment and custom farming/applications. Recruits and retains top level talent and maintain pool of potential team members. Assists in development of marketing plans and outlets for off take of crops. Also responsible for maintaining adherence to company conduct and safety policies throughout region.
