This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has worked in the Ag field since he was old enough to work. He began kicking hay off of the trailer when he was a freshman in High School and continued farm work through High School. Since then he has worked on a cow calf operation where they have grown from 800 to now 1300 head of mother cows. He is currently number two behind the manager and during the summer time he supervises the summertime help. He has full control and responsibilities of the 450 head of Purebred cattle including AI dates, sires and heat detection. He operates equipment (backhoe, excavator, dump truck, tractor, skid steer) and does shop work on equipment. He has cared for livestock for the majority of his life. He can ride and use horses in a ranch environment. He has worked in many different situations, has established relationships with other in the cattle industry and he can reach out for answers that he doesn’t know. He can work with people, and/or by himself.
