This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is seeking a leadership position on a ranch where he can make substantial contributions, exceeding set standards while creating a positive environment. He has extensive experience creating, training and implementing great teams in multiple forums. He is currently Director of Ranch Operations for two large bison ranches responsible for overseeing all aspects of both integrated bison, cow/calf and feed & grow operations. Ensures all facilities, grounds and equipment are well-maintained, clean and organized. Manages livestock grazing, livestock feeding, lease relationships, water rights, water development, vendors, government affairs, supervise ranch employees and contractors, responsible for pasture management, supplemental feed sourcing, transportation, regulatory oversight, and care and health of all livestock. He also maintains and harvests 3600 acres for hay forage and in addition, he provides effective leadership and management of 11 to 15 full time employees and an additional 12 to 14 part time ranch employees and various contractors.
