Candidate Description:
Kobe De Vries has deep roots in the agricultural industry, beginning his career at a young age on his family's dairy farm with a herd size of 2,000. From the 7th grade, Kobe's daily routine involved waking up at 4:30 AM to help with milking and feeding the cows before heading to school. His weekends were spent working tirelessly with the cattle, calves, and crops on the farm.
Kobe continued his agricultural work while studying at California State University, Fullerton, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business. At CSUF, he worked on the university's dairy farm, which had a herd of 400, assisting with milking, feeding, maintenance, and cattle health. His position also requires him to lead projects, coordinating with labor contractors, ranch managers, and packing house managers. This role has honed his communication and leadership skills, reflecting his strong work ethic, initiative, focus, and problem-solving creativity. Kobe’s extensive experience and commitment to continuous learning underscore his dedication to the agricultural field.
