This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate grew up in central Nebraska on a large farm, ranch, and feedlot and has been involved in farming, ranching, and feedyard work his whole life. Can run and do every aspect of farming, ranching, and feedyard work. He can run most any piece of equipment on a farm and has good mechanical skills. He is knowledge when it comes to selecting crops to plant, planting the crops properly, chemical and fertilizer programs, plant health, irrigation of crops, and the maturity of crops. He’s also been around cattle my whole life from growing up on a cow/calf operation and backgrounding yard to being involved in feedyards. He has overseen the buying cattle, nutrition programs, health and performance of cattle, and then the marketing and selling of cattle. He is very knowledgeable in backgrounding and finishing cattle with experience in every aspect from buying one to getting them to market. Can do mechanic work. Have experience running and managing a feedstore/feedmill where he oversaw employees, customer satisfaction, cattle nutrition, operating feedmill, marketing and selling of feed, and all day-to-day operations.
