A long-established and highly respected Ag Equipment Wholesaler is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Product Manager to join their team. Position Overview
The Product Manager serves as a direct liaison between the company, equipment manufacturers, dealers, and customers. This is an active role requiring strong communication skills, agricultural equipment knowledge, and occasional travel throughout the territory.
The position is typically Monday through Friday, with a limited number of weekends each year dedicated to farm shows, dealer events, demonstrations, and trade shows.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong selling habits while supporting existing dealer accounts and growing new business opportunities

Build and maintain relationships with current dealers, prospective dealers, distributors, and industry representatives

Become the primary “champion” for 5–8 assigned equipment brands while maintaining working knowledge of all supported vendors

Provide technical and product support to dealers regarding whole goods, parts, and warranty concerns

Coordinate and support manufacturer pre-season order programs and warranty processes

Develop and maintain retail and dealer pricing materials for assigned product lines

Organize, plan, set up, and attend trade shows, farm shows, and product demonstrations

Coordinate booth layouts, transportation logistics, marketing materials, and equipment displays for events

Maintain records of products sold during shows and accurately enter orders into the ERP system for invoicing and shipment

Assist in planning and occasionally executing product demonstrations for dealers and retail customers

Research and evaluate opportunities for new products and market expansion within the territory

Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including LTL and full-load shipments

Assist with loading and unloading equipment shipments when necessary

Follow all company policies and procedures in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications

Postsecondary education preferred

Strong agricultural background with experience operating farm equipment required

Experience selling agricultural equipment or parts highly preferred

Self-motivated individual with a trainer/educator personality

Strong relationship-building, communication, and computer skills

CDL is a plus

Ability to obtain a DOT Physical Card required

Preference for candidates currently residing in or interested in relocating to South Central Kansas
