About the Opportunity

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a well-established, independent Ag retailer seeking a Precision Ag & Equipment Sales Representative to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for a technology-driven Ag professional passionate about precision planting systems, agronomic equipment, and on-farm support.

The position combines technical sales, customer training, and product setup within a defined local territory. The company continues to invest in growth and expansion, offering a long-term career path for someone who values relationships and performance.

Position Overview

This individual will be part of the company’s Precision Ag team, promoting and supporting precision technology and tillage solutions. The role involves both sales and hands-on involvement with precision Ag hardware and related equipment. The ideal candidate will enjoy building relationships with growers, delivering value through technology adoption, and ensuring a strong customer experience from sale to installation.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent the company with integrity while providing outstanding customer service
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Sell Precision Planting systems and related precision technology solutions
- Sell Ag equipment solutions such as strip-till, anhydrous, manure, and fertilizer application bars
- Deliver and return customer equipment as needed
- Assist with warehouse inventory and logistics
- Conduct on-farm, one-on-one training sessions for customers on equipment setup and use
- Travel throughout a local territory to visit farms and customers

Qualifications

- Background in Agronomy, Ag Sales, or related field preferred
- Experience or strong interest in Precision Ag and farm machinery technology
- Ability to safely operate farm machinery and understand its function
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Strong computer and technology aptitude (Microsoft Office proficiency required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Self-motivated, with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Compensation & Benefits

- Total compensation range: $60,000 – $100,000+ (performance-based earnings potential)
- Company vehicle, cell phone, iPad, computer, and expense account provided

Schedule & Reporting

- Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (extended hours during peak seasons)
- Reports directly to the Owner/General Manager
