Job Title: Farm Hand

Position Overview
This is a full-time, hands-on opportunity with a progressive agricultural operation in the Central Plains region. The role supports day-to-day farm operations and offers long-term growth potential for the right individual. Based on performance, reliability, and leadership ability, this position may evolve into an Assistant Manager role with expanded responsibility.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, seasonal agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate agricultural equipment in field and transport settings
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and minor repair of equipment and trucks
- Support irrigation systems, including center pivot monitoring and maintenance
- Haul grain, bales, and farm supplies as needed
- Collect field, equipment, and operational data and log information using mobile or web-based tools
- Maintain clean, organized equipment, vehicles, and workspaces
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Assist with additional farm duties as assigned based on seasonal needs

Qualifications & Skills

- Prior experience in farming, equipment operation, irrigation, or mechanical work preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to troubleshoot and learn
- Ability to work long, flexible hours during peak seasonal periods
- Valid driver’s license; ability and willingness to obtain a Non-Commercial Class A CDL
- High level of reliability, accountability, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a small team
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and professionalism
