JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm Assistant for a progressive, high-performing Nebraska row crop operation. This operation farms over 9,000 acres of corn and soybeans, using late-model John Deere equipment and top-tier precision technology.

This position will take part in all aspects of row crop production—from tillage and planting through harvest and post-harvest grain handling. Off-season duties include equipment maintenance, fabrication, tillage prep, grain hauling, and shop work to ensure all machinery is field-ready before spring.

The ideal candidate will have a solid agronomic understanding, strong mechanical and problem-solving skills, and the flexibility to adapt to seasonal changes and varying workloads. Some experience in grain handling, drying, and storage is preferred, as well as the ability to climb bins and safely manage related tasks.

This position offers the opportunity to grow with a modern, innovative farm that values initiative, integrity, and teamwork. The right individual will be rewarded with long-term stability and the chance to advance within the operation.

Located in a family-friendly community with excellent schools, churches, and abundant outdoor recreation—fishing, hunting, camping, and boating—this is a great place to build both a career and a home.
