Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Farm Assistant/Farm Equipment Operator for a progressive Colorado farming operation. This is a year-round, long-term position working closely with the owner on approximately a large scale, well established farming operation.

Up to $80,000, depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prefer plant-through-harvest experience
• Dependable, hardworking, self-starter with initiative and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with routine maintenance and general repairs
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
• Pivot irrigation experience is a plus
• CDL with clean driving record is a plus but not required
• Must be willing to perform hands-on farm work and maintenance

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties will include operating modern farm equipment, planting, tillage, harvesting, grain and silage operations, pivot irrigation, equipment maintenance, and general farm repairs. Spring pivot maintenance will be an important responsibility. This is a non-livestock operation, with winter hours generally slowing down for equipment maintenance and shop work. A heated shop is available for winter repairs and maintenance.
