- Three plus years of territory sales experience

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through text/email.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet safety standards
- Valid Driver’s Licenses with the ability to maintain throughout employment

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing an established ag business located in Nebraska. Our client is committed to achieving excellence in the agricultural equipment industry by serving the customer with honor and integrity. Starting 40 years ago, they have grown into the leader in American-made feed mixers and other livestock equipment. This position sells directly to the cattle feeding industry, selling a line of anti-slip cattle mats and innovative livestock handling equipment. These products are distributed principally in the cattle feeding “corridor” including the states of TX, NM, OK, CO, KS, NE, MO, IA, and SD. You will also be assisting in promoting and selling the full line of products as needed.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses
- Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Consult with customers after the sales order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing
- Prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer
- Provide customers with the product information
- Identify prospective customers by using current contacts, business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in, and attending trade shows
- Arrange and direct the delivery and installation of products
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account
- Train customers' employees to operate and maintain new equipment.
- Travel as needed in territory, 50-60%
- Collaborate with leadership team to build annual sales plans and targets, as well as assist with marketing input and management
- Perform any other duties
