Job Title: Applicator / Farm Equipment Operator
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1–3 years of current sprayer/application operation experience needed and the focus of the job.
- Experience operating self-propelled JD-412R sprayer is a plus
- Large farm equipment / heavy equipment operation is a plus using dozer or excavator
- Plant through harvest experience is a strong plus
- Ability to handle routine maintenance and general repairs is a must; Arc welding skills a plus
- CDL is a plus; Prefer good driving experience with tractor-trailer w/ clean record needed
- Hardworking, team player, strong communicator, self-starter, motivated
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Spray Operator / Farm Equipment Operator for a Nebraska farm. The farm runs mostly all John Deere equipment with Green Star, using variable rate application, using grid sampling and harvest data. Looking for a person with experience running a self-propelled sprayer as they currently run 2 JD 412R's with 120' booms. Additional experience running large farm equipment, trucking, heavy equipment to refurbish terraces are all a plus for consideration. Location is a short commuting distance for a spouse to work in Lincoln and/or Omaha. E.O.E paying an hourly rate determined by experience, stability, and references.
