Phillip received his Dairy Management Certification in 2014. He moved back home to their family's 4,000 cow dairy and worked as the Assistant Herdsman for 2 years before moving into the Herdsman position for the next 4 years. Phillip supervised employees, oversaw herd health, reproduction, and feeding. He has also managed the manure and shop crew. Phillip has feeding experience and has experience maintaining and repairing the dairy barn and equipment. Phillip would like to find a herd or shop management position on a large dairy.
