This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate has worked with and around cattle for most of his life. He has an Associate of Applied Science in Beef Production. He has managed a ranch and leased land to take in pairs/yearlings during the summer months until the ranch sold. He performed all day-to-day tasks including overseeing cattle health, pasture management, fencing, winter feeding, calving cows/heifers and record keeping. He operated and maintained tractors, skid steer and implements for summer haying. He has day worked for area ranchers helping brand, preg check, wean and assist with other cattle work. He is self-motivated and a problem solver. He has always been very passionate about his work and the ranching lifestyle. His wife is a teacher and together they have three boys who enjoy being part of our ranch life. He encourages them to help on the ranch as much as possible.
