QUALIFICATIONS:

- Searching for a Candidate that is current on experience, proactive, forward-thinking, has experience of equipment operations from plant and all phases through harvest.
- Have the ability to jump in and do all things from maintenance, oil changes, fix a fence if needed as well as make adjustments to equipment for optimum efficiency.
- Require good experience and understanding of Precision Technology preferred
- Handle routine maintenance and general repairs, Welding, mechanical ability in working with gas, diesel and/or small engines.
- Experience with elevators, bins and dryers, legs and grain storage systems.
- Need to be flexible with hours worked, because of weather conditions and have a good attitude along with good communication skills working in a team environment.
- Hardworking and able to grow in their responsibilities while being part of a team. Solid Ag experiences with a willingness to cross train and grow in areas of farm operations.
- Employer runs late model equipment and CDL is required due to our custom operations for others.
- Experience in Agronomy, mechanics, or computers would also be a plus


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Farm Equipment Assistant, who has a crop production background and has an all-around ability. This position is located in the central part of North Dakota and will be working for a progressive family operation. Prefer experience in row crop planting or running air drill, but may be willing to train the right individual with a good farm background and solid references. A person needs to be self-motivated, dependable and someone who takes pride in their work. Need to be able to work in a team environment of safety and productivity. Must be flexible and willing to help in all areas of the farm. In the beginning, it will depend on your experience level. The employer would like the ability to cross train fully, so one can be relief on the planter, air drill, field cultivator, sprayer, combine, grain cart or whatever area that we may need relief on that particular day. Wage will be determined by experience, stability, and references.
