Job Description:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy operation located in Michigan who is searching for a hands-on experienced Dairy Manager to oversee the day to day operation of the dairy. The employer is looking for a Dairy Manager who has strong supervising skills, who can lead and motivate the dairy team. Will ensure protocols and procedures are followed. Strong knowledge of herd health and must be experienced in AI breeding. This position will be responsible for tracking herd management software, recording cow movement, inventory, and ordering supplies. Will work with the veterinarian, nutritionist, and other vendors. Will also be responsible for overseeing feed inventory and will work with the feed crew. The ability to speak Dairy Spanish is a plus.
