Demonstrated ability to identify areas of strength and weakness, implement process improvements to correct them, and strive for business and operational optimization. Managed one of the largest row crop farming operations in Midwest. Grew acres by nearly 40-fold with resulting sales of $20M+. Direct involvement in business development, operations, marketing, grain sales, technology implementation, and human resources. This also included budgeting, forecasting and 5-year projections. Implemented a management team and grew employee base to 22 full time employees. Managed annual production of 4.3M bushels of grain moving 3.2M in a 90-day window to ethanol plants and processors. Set strategy and provided leadership to successfully implement and grow a new business in a remote location 1500 miles from the central farm operation.
