This Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT candidate is seeking employment on a ranch that operates as traditionally as is feasible and that encourages a strong family atmosphere. He is dedicated to raising his young children in the ranching lifestyle and is passionate about developing his skills to make himself as beneficial to the ranch as possible. He has been employed for the last 3 years on a ranch that is selling and has to find something new. He has been largely in charge of approximately 350 pair of red angus and has been responsible for the care and upkeep of the herd as well as the buildings, vehicles, corrals, water systems, fencing, etc. All cattle work has been done horseback and he would like to work for a place that operates that way as well. He has extensive experience working cattle horseback as well as with doctoring, identifying sickness, gathering, moving, calving, and all other related cow work. He has some welding experience and extensive experience operating equipment such as tractors, backhoes, excavators, skidsteers, loaders, etc. He is a state certified EMT and is certified in CPR. He has also been extensively background checked for both law enforcement and firefighting jobs. No criminal record and a good driving record.
